The club has been running for over 2 years, and has a wide range of members. The aim is to provide a challenge, yet friendly environment for drivers to enjoy close off-road racing, on a variety of surfaces.

We race regularly on Friday evenings from 6pm until 10:30pm.

What do I need to race at TCRCMC?

Simple. You will need a 1/10th scale off-road electric buggy. It can be of any make, but generally most club drivers run Team C, Team Associated, Schumacher or Team Durango cars.

Do I need to bring along power?

No. There is plenty of power sockets available to charge lipo batteries (these must be charged in an approved Lipo bag), or operate tools.

Do I need to have a table?

You can bring along your own table, as there is track-side space for this. However don’t worry if you don’t have one, there are plenty of tables and chairs available to use on the night.

Do I need to be a BRCA member?

Yes. However when you attend your first club night we will allow you to race without a BRCA licence. You can obtain one directly from the BRCA.

What Personal Transponders does the club use?

The club uses an AMB Transponder system, all drivers will need a Personal Transponder so their laps can be counted correctly. Either MyLaps AMB RC3 or MRT versions will work.

How much is it to race?

On a standard club night the cost is £10, this includes 3 rounds of heats for each driver and 1 final.

Do you run special events

From time to time we have run a popular Winter Series, and we have in the past run events outdoors on a grass track. Keep an eye on oOple or Facebook for news of upcoming events.

No problem, if you would like to ask something before attending a club night please find out the contact form below and we will be in touch.
